The Three Wise Monkeys, also known as Sambut猿 (三不猿), is a well-known symbol that originated in Japan. 

 

It depicts three monkeys each covering a different part of their face:

Mizaru (見猿) covers its eyes, symbolizing "see no evil."

Kikazaru (聞か猿) covers its ears, symbolizing "hear no evil."

Iwazaru (言わ猿) covers its mouth,symbolizing "speak no evil."
